Artwork should be supplied as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF with outlines) or a high-resolution PNG or JPG at 100dpi or above at final print size. Text must be outlined if your file is vector-based. A PDF proof will be provided for your approval before production begins.
Mirror ACM has a highly reflective surface, so the finished sign will pick up and reflect its surroundings when viewed at an angle. This is a characteristic of the material and part of its visual appeal. Designs that use bold colour blocks, strong contrast and photographic imagery tend to work particularly well on mirror ACM. If your design relies heavily on very fine detail or pale tones, our team will advise at the proof stage.
The mirror ACM surface should be cleaned with a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths or cleaning products that contain solvents, as these can scratch the reflective finish or affect the printed surface. Do not use pressure washers or jet cleaning on the sign faces.
This product is guaranteed for indoor use. The mirror ACM panels and plywood frame can tolerate light outdoor conditions, but we recommend bringing the board inside during rainfall and storing it indoors when not in use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may affect the reflective finish over time.
- Remove the board from its packaging. The mirror ACM faces will arrive mounted to the plywood frame and the board will be fully assembled, ready to use.
- Open the board to your preferred display angle. The side chains will engage to hold the board stable at the correct opening.
- Position the board on a flat, stable surface. On smooth indoor flooring, rubber feet or a non-slip mat under each leg will prevent the board sliding.
- To clean the mirror ACM faces, wipe with a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths or solvent-based cleaning products.
- Fold the board flat for storage or transport by lifting the chains clear and folding the two panels together. Store the board upright or flat on a padded surface to protect the mirror faces from scratching.
