As it is 100% waterproof and cured with UV inks, this black printed acrylic panel is suitable for both internal and external use as a permanent signage solution. UV inks offer market-leading longevity and are known for their strong colour fastness and resistance to damage.
Our UV inks are a silk-finish, they are not glossy or flat matt but a nice middle ground which compliments a wide range of material finishes.

Proving your artwork
When providing your artwork for your black acrylic sign you will need to supply your logo as a vector file or a high enough resolution JPG or PNG. Any photos should be supplied at 100dpi+ when used a full size and any text will ideally need to be outlined.
If you do not have these files we do offer a 20-minute free design when purchasing. If you are unsure whether your design will meet our requirements for printing you can take a look at our really helpful artwork guide. The free design time also includes simple setting of your desired layout, this can include placement of imagery and photos and any text you might require. If your requirements are likely to exceed our allowed free design time then one of our studio professionals will contact you to discuss options.
Once you have submitted your design or our studio team has created the artwork to your specification you will receive a PDF proof by email to review and sign off. When you are happy with the design simply reply to the email confirming you would like to proceed and your order will be moved into the print production phase.
With the glossy printed black acrylic sign you are supplied with high-quality aluminium stand-off spacers which hold the printed sign panel approximately 20mm away from the wall surface. The panel comes with pre-cut 8mm holes, which will standardly be one in each corner approximately 25mm centres. On larger panels our production team might advise more standoffs, if this is the case then on your PDF proof they will be indicated for your approval.
If you do not wish to use the off the wall spacers, you can request that your black acrylic sign is supplied without them and we will not then pre-cut your panel with the 8mm holes.
Other methods of fixing the sign in place include:
Mechanical Flush Fit: Using screws and decorative caps you can screw through the panel and install the graphic panel flush to the surface. You might need to use rawl plugs depending on your wall surface.
VHB tape: We can supply your black acrylic sign with a pre-applied VHB tape to the reverse of the graphic panel. On receipt of your sign, you can affix to your desired surface by removing the tapes film and sticking it to the wall surface. Please note VHB tape will not be suitable surfaces and we cannot offer guarantees it will stay in place and that the tape will not damage the wall surface on removal.
