- Full-colour digital print on 3mm brushed silver ACM, your design is UV printed directly onto brushed silver aluminium composite panels, which are then mounted to both faces of the A-board frame. The brushed aluminium grain beneath the inks creates a metallic depth effect that no standard print substrate can reproduce.
- Unique metallic finish — the grain works with the design, the directional brushed texture of the aluminium subtly shows through the UV inks, particularly in lighter tones and semi-transparent areas. This is not a defect — it is the defining characteristic of the material, and it gives the finished sign a quality and depth that rewards close inspection as well as catching the eye from a distance.
- 12mm FSC-certified European Birch face plywood frame, the natural plywood structure sits in deliberate contrast to the precision-finished metallic faces — warm and architectural at the same time, and immediately recognisable as a step above standard A-board construction.

Artwork should be supplied as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF with outlines) or a high-resolution PNG or JPG at 100dpi or above at final print size. Text must be outlined if your file is vector-based. A PDF proof will be provided for your approval before production begins.
The brushed grain of the aluminium runs in a single direction and shows through the UV inks, particularly in lighter-toned and less opaque areas of the design. This metallic bleed-through is a characteristic of the material and intentional — it is what gives the finished sign its distinctive depth. However, it does mean that artwork which relies on very pale tones, fine screen tints or flat light colours may read differently on brushed silver ACM than it would on a white substrate. Our studio team will flag any areas of concern at the proof stage before production begins.
Designs with strong contrast, bold typography and defined graphic elements tend to work best on brushed silver ACM. Photographic imagery with defined subjects also prints well. If your design is predominantly light in tone, we may suggest adjusting contrast or adding a semi-opaque backing layer to certain elements — our team will advise at proof.
Clean the brushed silver ACM faces with a soft, damp microfibre cloth, wiping in the direction of the grain. Avoid abrasive cloths, scouring pads or solvent-based cleaning products, as these will scratch the brushed finish. Do not wipe against the grain direction.
This product is guaranteed for indoor use. The ACM panels and plywood frame will tolerate light outdoor conditions, but we recommend bringing the board inside during rainfall and storing it indoors when not in use.
- Remove the board from its packaging. The brushed silver ACM faces will arrive mounted to the plywood frame and the board will be fully assembled, ready to use.
- Open the board to your preferred display angle. The side chains will engage to hold the board stable at the correct opening.
- Position the board on a flat, stable surface. On smooth indoor flooring, rubber feet or a non-slip mat under each leg will prevent the board sliding.
- To clean the brushed silver ACM faces, wipe with a soft, damp microfibre cloth in the direction of the grain. Do not use abrasive materials or solvent-based products.
- Fold the board flat for storage or transport by lifting the chains clear and folding the two panels together. Store the board upright or flat on a padded surface to protect the ACM faces from scratching.
