Assembly hardware
The Defender is designed for permanent outdoor placement and requires no shelter. The concrete base provides a low centre of gravity that keeps it standing in high winds, making it one of the most stable forecourt displays available. At 68 kg (30" x 40") and 104 kg (40" x 60"), these are substantial units that require two people to position safely. Plan your location carefully before assembly, as moving the sign once the base is connected is a significant task.
The snap frames accept standard PVC poster graphics. Poster graphics are available separately through the UK Sign Shop product selector. The anti-glare cover sheets keep graphics clean and legible in direct sunlight and rain.
The unit ships partially assembled. The concrete base and display case are packed separately to manage the weight during delivery. Full assembly instructions are included.

Unpack the concrete base and display case separately. Two people are required for safe assembly.
Position the concrete base in your chosen location before connecting the display frame. It is very difficult to move once assembled.
Stand the steel subframe upright and locate it into the fixing points on the top of the concrete base.
Secure the subframe to the base using the supplied bolts and tighten firmly.
Attach the double-sided snap frame display case to the top of the steel subframe using the supplied fixings.
Open each snap frame by pressing inward on all four edges, insert the anti-glare cover sheet and your poster, then close the frame edges to grip everything flat.
Repeat on the reverse side.
