The height stated on the listing of 45cm height does not include the ground spike. The ground spike is 18cm in height.
Before installing your light, think carefully about how much sun will be able to reach the solar panel in your intended location. Try to avoid shaded areas that are created by buildings, trees or fences.
- Remove the top piece of the light and switch the light on
- Adjust the solar panel to the correct position
- If the ground is too hard for the stake, pour water onto the desired area to soften it and make a hole using a strong metal object beforehand. Once the stake is in place, simply push the light fittings onto it
