Slate Leaf
We're excited to introduce to you our new slate leaf range of signs made from slate veneer material. It is 1.5mm thick and made from 100% natural stone with all the same benefits as our other slate products.

Using this new material, we can now provide custom slate signs in any shape and size up to 2400 by 1200mm. Please do contact us for a quote for a bespoke size in this material.
Using a natural top layer of slate veneer is a much more eco-friendly way to produce our house signs. It uses much less stone which in turn reduces Co2 emissions from transportation.
For us to achieve a total thickness of 5mm for the house signs, we apply a layer of acrylic to the back. These are bonded together and are ensured to stand the test of time.
This makes the signs lightweight and very unlikely to get damaged in comparison to all slate material as it is brittle.
It is worth noting that the surface is still a natural slate material so there can be an uneven surface and pyrite due to the natural layers in this material.
